The Pilgrim's Voice.

With Track 5: Credo in Via (I Believe on the Way), we now begin the slow ascent from mystery to trust. After crying out, encountering hidden glory, and standing in awe before God's veiled presence, this track offers a quiet, resolute affirmation: I believe—even here, even now, even in the waiting. Not triumphant, but anchored. A “Credo” whispered more than declared.

This piece walks in the footsteps of Psalm 27:13 (“I believe I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”) and the disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35), who didn’t yet recognize Him, but kept walking with Him. It is a pilgrim’s creed—soft, slow, repeating, and faithful.

This song is a meditative confession of faith made in motion—not in certainty but in trust. Faith voiced through walking, waiting, and continuing.

Scriptural Themes:

  • Psalm 27:13 – “I remain confident of this…”
  • Luke 24:15 – “Jesus himself drew near and walked with them.”
  • Job 23:8–10 – “He knows the way that I take…”
Style: Gentle walking rhythm. Alternating solo/choir. Modal or pentatonic melody. Think Taizé-style, but deeper harmonically, with Corsican phrasing and long overlapping lines.
    Mood: Reflective, pilgrim-like, quietly resolute.
