Track 4 on the album, Lux Aeterna, is a powerful turning point in the cantata. It will mystify and humble the listener, drawing from Scripture's many paradoxes: the hiddenness of God, the brightness concealed in shadow, the divine glory not in spectacle but in stillness, fire, and cloud. It is about God’s presence that dwells in thick darkness (1 Kings 8:12) and yet leads us out of darkness (Isaiah 9:2).

"Gloria Obscura" explores the hiddenness of God’s glory—how divine light is often veiled in shadow, suffering, or silence.
