Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze

Roasted Brussels sprouts have a rich, slightly sweet, and nutty flavor. They pair well with roast chicken, grilled pork, salmon, cod, stuffed portobello mushrooms, and pasta carbonara. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  5. Meanwhile, mix the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until it reduces and thickens slightly.
  6. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and serve immediately.

Air fry

  1. Same as above.
  2. Set air fryer to 380°F .
  3. Roast for 20 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  4. Shake half-way through for even heating and to avoid burning.
