Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Glaze
Roasted Brussels sprouts have a rich, slightly sweet, and nutty flavor. They pair well with roast chicken, grilled pork, salmon, cod, stuffed portobello mushrooms, and pasta carbonara.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Meanwhile, mix the balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until it reduces and thickens slightly.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts and serve immediately.
Air fry
- Same as above.
- Set air fryer to 380°F .
- Roast for 20 minutes, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Shake half-way through for even heating and to avoid burning.
