9. The Dad
This is a beautifully layered character. He’s a dad trying to hold it together in a season that’s both demanding and holy. He’s not cynical, just stretched. He wants to support his daughter. He doesn’t want to grumble. He’s tired, not quite “there” spiritually, and not sure what’s off, but he’s still showing up, which says a lot. His song is half internal monologue, half spoken prayer, and fully human.
10. The Director
She is such a meaningful and multidimensional character. The Christmas Play Director is a beautiful mix of tireless vision, buried weariness, deep faith, and a kind of holy chaos-wrangling. Her song is part anthem, part prayer, part confession.
