This is shalom made flesh.

With joy still echoing from Lux Aeterna Resurrexit, we now enter the peace that follows resurrection: Track 11: Pax Domini (The Peace of the Lord)

This piece from the album, Lux Aeterna, embodies the moment Christ appears to His disciples and says, "Peace be with you."

Not a thin peace, not the end of noise—but deep, soul-restoring wholeness.

This is shalom made flesh.

The risen Lord does not come in thunder but in quiet authority, calming fear, reconciling hearts, and sending His followers with the breath of the Spirit.

The mood here is still. Confident. Gentle. The music should feel like warm light filtering through a sanctuary window—not static, but held in sacred suspension. The refrain “Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum” (The peace of the Lord be always with you) becomes a holy benediction, sung over the listener, not just by them.

The goal of Pax Domini is to convey the deep, healing peace that flows from the risen Christ—both a comfort and a commissioning.
