Track 10: “Valley Bones Rise” is the climactic resurrection moment of the album, Genesis Jubilee. After the fire and rain of Elijah, we step into a barren valley, and watch resurrection begin. This is the dryest place, where hope seems lost—until the breath of God moves.
This is not just a revival story—it’s a preview of the empty tomb, the future resurrection of the saints, and the Spirit's power today. The image is visceral: dry bones rattling, coming together, standing as an army. But the power isn’t in sinews or flesh—it’s in the breath.
Here, we’ll use arena worship energy—with lyrical repetition, call-and-response, and dynamic musical swells to mirror the rising of the bones. This song builds steadily from quiet despair to roaring victory.
Lyrics
Verse 1
This valley's dry, the hope is gone
A silence deep, the night too long
But even here, a voice still speaks
"Can these bones live?" says God to me
Pre-Chorus
Speak the word
Call the breath
Prophesy to life from death
Chorus
Valley bones rise—by the breath of God
Valley bones rise—by the Spirit’s song
He spoke the word, and dust obeyed
The tomb is empty, death’s been slain
Valley bones rise—by the breath of God!
Verse 2
The rattle starts beneath my feet
A shaking sound, a rising beat
From scattered ash to standing tall
The breath of heaven fills them all
Bridge
Can these bones live? (They will!)
Will breath return? (It is!)
Who holds the keys? (The Son!)
Then speak His name—(He comes!)
Refrain 3x
The same breath
That moved through the valley
The same breath
That raised Christ from the grave
The same breath
Still breathing inside me—
I am alive, I am awake!
Final Chorus
Valley bones rise—by the breath of God!
He speaks and death is overthrown
No grave can hold, no fear can bind
We rise with Christ, eternal life!
Valley bones rise—by the breath of God!
Outro
The breath still speaks…
The bones still rise…
He lives… so I…
Will never die.
Devotional Reflection
The vision given to Ezekiel is both haunting and holy. A field of bones—lifeless, scattered, sun-bleached and hopeless. But the question comes: “Can these bones live?”
Not by strength. Not by strategy. Only by the Word of the Lord—and the breath of God.
And so Ezekiel prophesies—and the bones rattle. Flesh forms. Breath enters. An army rises.
This isn’t just Israel’s revival. This is the Gospel preview of resurrection itself—Jesus rising from the tomb by the Spirit, and us with Him. Our churches, our hearts, our dry seasons—they are not beyond revival.
The same breath that filled that valley fills the believer still.
