2 injured after 3-vehicle crash in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – At least two people were injured after a three-car crash in Dayton Monday morning, authorities say.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hoover Ave. and Brooklyn Ave. shortly before 7 am.

Three medics were requested at the scene. One person was reported unconscious after the crash while another person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No citations were issued in the crash.

EMS called to crash in Dayton involving SUV and car

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Medics were called to crash in Dayton early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.

The crash happened shortly before 8 am on S. Smithville Road near Wellington Drive. The crash involved a car and an SUV.

There is no information on any possible injuries. The crash resulted in lane closures on S. Smithville roads and Wellington Drive, but no full road closures.

Police investigate shooting in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating a shooting in Dayton.

It happened just after 4 a.m. Tuesday on Woodman Drive, near Northdale road.

Police responded to reports of a person shot. Authorities have not released any information about the victim or a suspect.

A forensics team was called to the scene to help investigate the shooting.

Fire officials: 2 brush fires hours apart in same locations considered suspicious

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Fire officials say two brush fires that happened at the same location, hours apart, are considered suspicious.

Crews went to a mulch processing facility in a large field on Wagner Ford Road, near Maumee Road, around 4:30 p.m. Monday on reports of a large brush fire.

Fire officials say that fire didn’t pose a threat to any surrounding areas, so crews let it burn out on its own.
