Armed robbery reported at Brown Street mobile phone store

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police were called to the T-Mobile store on Brown Street Monday morning after a reported armed robbery.

The crime took place around 10:30 am Monday at the T-Mobile store in the 1100 block of Brown Street.

Regional dispatch says that the suspects tied employee up, stole phones, and showed a gun. There are also reports of at least two suspects who were described as black men.

Officers from the Dayton Police Department are on the scene now investigating.

Truck slams into Dayton business

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police are investigating what led to a crash in Dayton late Thursday.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday on S. Smithville Road, near Farnham Avenue.

A pickup track ran off the road and slammed into a building.

The truck was heavily damaged in the crash.

Authorities say no one was injured.

The building, which houses a Nationwide Insurance office, sustained some damage. Authorities did not give an estimate of damage caused in the crash.

Officers call for assistance at Dayton apartment complex

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Police called for countywide assistance while investigating reports of a fight at a Dayton apartment complex early Thursday.

Officers went to Summit Square Apartments just before 3:30 a.m. Thursday on reports of a disturbance between two women.

When police arrived, they found a large crowd gathered outside the complex.

Officers called for help a short time later.

2 people hospitalized after car slams into Dayton building

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after a car slammed into a building early Friday.

The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. Friday on Stanley Avenue, near Leo Street.

Officers say two people were taken to a local hospital, but did not released the conditions of the crash victims.

The car was heavily damaged in the crash.

Police did not give an estimate of damage caused to the building.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Truck hits Elsa’s Restaurant in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A vehicle hit a popular restaurant in Dayton early Wednesday.

The crash happened just after 1 a.m. Wednesday at Elsa’s Restaurant on Linden Avenue.

A pickup truck hit the building.

Authorities say the building wasn’t damaged in the crash.

The pickup truck sustained heavy front end damage.

No one was injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
