More Than 4,000 Hoosiers Test Positive For COVID-19

INDIANAPOLIS — More than 4,000 Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Indiana Department of Health.

The latest posting on the ISDH website shows the number of deaths increased from 101 on Friday morning to 127 on Saturday evening.

The number of positive cases in Indiana totals 4,411, up from 3,437 on Friday.

The number of total tests administered is 22,652.

James L. Johnson, Jr., 87, Columbia City, died at 11:07 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2020, at his home.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1932, in Noble County, a son of the late James Leonard Johnson and Mary (Barr) Johnson. His formative years were spent in the Wolf Lake area, where he graduated from Albion High School in 1951.
