A series of CNN chyrons this week scare-quoted President Donald Trump when he tweeted about and discussed the “caravan” of Central American migrants approaching the southern border, but it did not do so when interviewing the reporter who broke the story on Thursday.

President Trump’s decision to deploy military troops to the border to help border agents stop illegal immigrants from crossing into the country is setting up yet another border battle with California and Jerry Brown, its popular liberal governor.

Stormy Daniels’ lawyer said Wednesday that CBS was a “conservative network” while criticizing “60 Minutes” for airing only a small portion of his client’s interview about her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

Daniels, an adult film actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has claimed she had sex with Trump in 2006 and received a $130,000 hush payment in 2016. She told “60 Minutes” she was threatened to remain silent about the affair in 2011.

Clinton: The U.S. Is Witnessing ‘An All-Out Attack on Core Values’

Hillary Clinton said during closing remarks at the annual Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards Wednesday that the U.S. is witnessing “an all-out attack on core values of democracy,” although without specifically mentioning President Donald Trump.

The event honored women leaders in human rights, economic empowerment and political reform, Fox News reports.

Sanders: Democratic Party Has Been ‘Failure’ for Past 15 Years

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) said during a stop in Jackson, Mississippi that the Democratic Party has been a “failure” for the past 15 years.

Sanders slammed the party for its many losses outside of President Barack Obama having won office twice. The 2016 Democratic presidential contender said many don’t realize the party’s failures because of “a charismatic individual named Barack Obama.”
