Expanded chaplain program ready for anything in Franklin County sheriff’s office

Recognizing that the mental health needs of law enforcement officers hold a special challenge, the Franklin County sheriff’s office has expanded its chaplain program, adding six volunteer ministers to its ranks to help the 1,200 sworn and civilian employees with whatever they may need. Six ministers have taken special training since November to join the Rev. Leo Connolly, the office’s longtime sole chaplain, and more will be added.
